“The Sarai” is a Resort project with world class amenities in the midst of one of the most scenic backgrounds in Chikamagalur, Karnataka.
Chikamagalur is a town located in the Chikkamagaluru district in the Indian state of Krnataka. Located in the foothills of Mullayanagiri range. Chikkamagaluru is famous for its serene environment, lush green forests and tall mountains. Chikkamagaluru generally has a moderate to cool climate. The temperature of the city varies from 11-20 °C during winter to 25-32 °C during summer. The climate over here is salubrious.
They wanted to have a Coffee Day in amidst the resort project. They went for Coffee Day as it is one of the most recognised brand in Indian market in this segment. “The Sarai” Coffee Day project is one of their ventures in the Hospitality segment.
Chikkamagaluru is very famous for COFFEE and is known as the ‘Coffee Land’ of Karnataka. It is one of the largest producers of coffee in India.
M/s Gayatri and Namith architect of Bangalore was engaged in designing the roofing work of one lakh sq ft area and to give a truly international class exterior to “The Sarai” Coffee Day project.
The client selected Certain Teed Firehalt roofing shingles for Coffee Day as Certain Teed provides a high quality roofing products and have an excellent follow up track record when needed by the client. He opted for New England Slate colour as a contrast to the exterior walls. Gayatri and Namith architect installed a patterned roof that, by all reports, “is a real stopper”.
The project finished in 2007 on time. The Coffee Day well designed and constructed turned out really nice and received great appreciation from “The Sarai” resort visitors.
